Americana singer-songwriter Simon James, and his legions of Jammie Dodgers (the name his fans adopted) are taking over the streets of Manchester for the official launch of his eagerly anticipated new album, Happy Ever After.
The successful business man, turned musician, who has been writing and performing for over 20 years and would much rather be on stage with his guitar than at the offices of one of his numerous businesses, has already spent time in the Top 40 of the UK Country Album Charts and the Top 10 of the Singles Chart, and been nominated for a British Country Music Award.

The new album, produced by renowned Record Producer Kevin Duncan - his first release after singing to label GingerDog Records, is being release on 28th June at Night People in Manchester and is eagerly anticipated by fans, peers and critics alike. The music, a new direction from his previous material, in part due to writing sessions alongside talented artists Karine Polwart, Boo Hewerdine, Findlay Napier and Darden Smith, is a true Americana sound, with influences from the worlds of folk, blues and of course, country.
