The word ‘Community’ captures the choir’s very reason for being; it’s much more than just part of our name!  As our strap-line, ‘A Community for Singing - Singing for a Community’ suggests, we look to build strong relationships within the choir giving us a firm base from which to impact our town of Bury St Edmunds.  Concert performances and making music in local care homes, market fetes and community events all have a part to play in outworking our vision. This vision is focussed not only on sharing the pleasure of music-making but also raising money for the various local charities and good causes.
